Prihajajo zmagovalci nagrad Game Awards in čeprav je bilo veliko zmagovalnih iger v številnih kategorijah, je ena igra domov odnesla glavno nagrado: The Last of Us 2, ki je osvojila igro leta.

V letu s skoraj šokantno količino odličnih iger je bila vsaka kategorija polna močnih kandidatov za zmago, zaradi česar je bila nagrada The Game Awards 2020 prava grizenje nohtov.
